Speaker P.Audio W-6C is a weather-protected small-format sound reinforcement system. The cabinet is made from a single-piece rotatable UV-resistant polyethylene cover. The enclosure features a 35mm pole mount socket for mounting to the top of a standard speaker pole. The cabinet design is designed to support low-frequency expansion. Inside the cabinet, there are 3 built-in mounting points, which can be used in conjunction with the included U-Bracket kit for wall or ceiling mounting. When pole mounting is required, an optional Pole Mount Kit can be purchased. The grill is made from CNC perforated steel and coated with a zinc-rich double-layer UV-resistant powder coating. The 6-inch woofer features a treated cone pulp to resist water and dry rot. High energy ferrite magnetism ensures high SPL for maximum coverage from a small system. The high-frequency driver is mounted behind the woofer in a Thru Pole Piece design. The flare whistle ensures an even coverage of 90 x 90 degrees. The high-frequency driver uses a separate magnet to increase the flux density in the magnetic gap, to benefit the overall SPL and high-frequency extension. The W-6C is well suited for outdoor environments where a reliable weatherproof system is specified. Line matching transformers allow connection to high voltage lines to minimize cable losses during long cable runs, further enhancing system usability.
