The design has an 8-inch (203mm) high output woofer and a 1-inch (25.4mm) soft dome tweeter with short horn. The extended low-frequency response makes the Promax Compact 8.0 ideally suited for retail spaces where high-energy music playback is specified. The system is also great for larger fitness centers and gyms where amplified music supports verbal instructions. Compact 8.0 has a very aesthetically pleasing design and integrates well into upscale restaurant and pub environments where themed music is part of the overall experience. The system has a switchable low or high impedance design. The low Z profile is 8 ohm nominal impedance. The high Z configuration provides an industry standard 100Vrms fully isolated transformer. There are 3 faucets available: 35 watts; 25 watts; and 15 watts. The full 100 watts of system power handling and high sensitivity of 89dB (1 watt at 1 meter) ensure that the Compact 8.0 is capable of operating at excellent high sound pressure levels.
