The Promax CH-65S loudspeaker is a weather-protected medium-format sound reinforcement system. The cabinet is made from a single-piece rotatable UV-resistant polyethylene cover. The enclosure features a 35mm pole mount socket for mounting to the top of a standard speaker pole. The cabinet design was switched to support low-frequency extension, and the 8-inch speaker was loaded to achieve a higher SPL than was possible. Inside the cabinet there are 5 built-in truss points, which can be used in conjunction with the included U-Bracket kit for wall or ceiling mounting. When pole mounting is required, an optional Pole Mount Kit can be purchased. The mesh panel is made from CNC perforated steel and is coated with a zinc rich, UV resistant double layer powder coating. The 8-inch woofer features a treated cone pulp to resist water and dry rot.
